PC port itself is fine. I played both PS and PC.
Keyboard and mouse is only 1 analog input.
I've never try, but you may want to check out Nier Automata Input Overhaul Mod (NAIOM).
I used NAIOM with FAR/Special K mod, worked well for me.
1 - My first playthrough was on keyboard, never felt like using a gamepad. And you can toggle auto run on keyboard, can't do it on gamepad. Did you install Special K? It might solve many problems.
2 - You can try increasing the camera rotation settings, I do it after installing the game, on Replicant as well.
3 - My PC is a several years old potato compared to present-day PCs. Never had issues on my first playthrough, don't have them now, and I play in 1080p resolution with above average screen settings, also using GShade and HD Textures pack mods.
Again, if you haven't installed Special K yet, you know what to do.
Yeah, it's rather disappointing. (random but like, I'm annoyed that I can't match the speed of npcs walking during a guided section.) But I didn't think a lot of games don't really give analog movement speed like that.
Shame, Super Mario 64 set a great standard but few cared to follow lol
