Ending E - No request to delete save data?

So, I've finally got all the achievements and decided to close it up with the Transient Being achievement and the Ending D&E - the only ones that I didn't get. After finishing the end credits and composing the final message I hoped the Pod would ask me to erase my save and I'd do it for the sake of completion, but he just took me to the title screen.
I'm not sure what happened. Did I misclick? Is it a bug? Why would he not make the request?

Did you accept help while doing the final credits? If you didn't, then it won't ask you cause the question is based on the concept of asking you to do for others what others did for you, so if you did not accept the help, no one helped you and the question to delete your data won't appear.
If you did accept the help, after that did you leave a postive message? If you did no, then it won't ask you the question, since the question is about being positive to others by helping them, so leaving a negative message is interpreted as you not wanting to help others, so it won't ask you the question.

I suppose my message wasn't exactly positive, so that should explain it.
Can't believe I must do this again now tho...

So... did you do it? I can't get help, when I connect to the network I only get lots of messages but nothing happens

I've decided to finish the DLC first since I got the chance.
Not sure why you wouldn't be able to get help, the game offered me help after a few deaths.
You could try the newly discovered cheat code to skip the credits if you've seen the ending already.

Nevermind, I just had to die a lot more to be given the help offer. Welp, I just deleted my save data to help other people and totally forgot about the new cheat code. Anyways, I was planning to play the game again to get all achievements.
