Can I play this game with a PS5 controller?

i've tried playing this game with my PS5 controller and it doesn't work. There simply isn't any input. It works with other games so it shouldn't be a problem with my controller.

Game only has native support for xinput controllers, you are going to need something to manage input to the game. If if you are in the steam client beta, then there is support for than in steams controller settings. If you are in it already, go into big picture mode and check its set up for the game.
