After ending C what now?

So I just ended route C yesterday. I woke up and fired up the game. assuming I am moving on to route D but I start the game all over again. I am still level 61 and I have all my gear but the enemies haven't scaled with me. Is this normal Am I doing route D?

Route D is the third playthrough, but you choose 9S instead at the final fight. Route E occurs once C and D have been acquired.

Use the chapter select to redo the final fight to get the other endings. After that, do whatever you want. The enemies won't scale, though.

Also, if the game asks you to delete your data, know that it's not joking.

So when I was in the tower and selected A2, I need to chapter select and pick 9S now, and that will unlock ending E after that?

Not yet, you'll just get ending D. For ending E, after getting both endings C and D, you need to view one of those 2 ending again (not sure if you need to redo the final fight again). The credits will play out differently and at some point, one of the pods will make a request to check the data (or something like that), pick yes, then play through that last portion of the game. After clearing that, you'll get ending E.

Hey can I ask you something, I finished the game an hour ago or so. but at the end when the camera pans up and you are looking through that window. who is that sitting there?
