Ah, I see. In that case, one shouldn't bother buying the DLC since it's already included in the Game of the YoRHa edition ...
Wait ... in that case, would the Steam store or the publisher prevent a Steam user from buying the NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa and the DLC together? Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, but seems a bit "scammy" if they don't since NieR:Automata Game of the YoRHa already contains the DLC content ... right?
And I don't think Steam have a flagging system to prevent you buying the same thing that already included in a bundle (this type of bundle that sold as main purchase option), so this happen a lot which it did for a lot of game on Steam already
That said SE wouldn't remove the DLC just because GOTY bundle is here since anyone that own the game before GOTY was added doesn't get the upgrade treatment
Ah, that makes perfect sense then. Thanks a lot for the comprehensive answer! Now, just got to wait for the next discount to buy it. Haha. :)
If you buy the goty version, steam would then prevent the dlc from being bought by you since you would already own it.
I see. In any case, once I buy the GOTY version, there is no need for me to worry about purchasing the DLC by "accident". Thanks a lot for the answer!
