KB+M?
Thinking about picking this game up but I really don't enjoy using controllers. Is it good with a KB+M?

Thanks

It really isnt good, especially in situations that requires you to aim with the mouse. Definitely use a controller if you want to enjoy it.

the main issue for me was the evade button, on keyboard you gotta press a direction twice to dodge, whereas on controller you just gotta press the right trigger. got me killed a few times on kb+m

Totally playable, just the learning curve will be longer. Don´t forget to use Delete key for fast use of items and fast cycling of Pods, and for me the evade thing was never such a big deal.

It is playable on Keyboard/Mouse but if you have the option , I would go controller.

Be an alpha like me and use keyboard only.

KB+Mouse (which I usually prefer) is playable but IMHO not enjoyable (and even joypad is not much joy, compared to other 3rd person games that have semi-decent KB+Mouse controls).

Also, even if using Using KB+Mouse, you'll have to switch to "KB only" in certain situations and use the mouse-hand to control the arrow keys in addtion to WASD. No clue how a left handed person (using the mouse with the left hand) should handle this. It's a pain anyways.

There's a handy little mod out which allows you to map the dodge action to the shift key, instead of having to double tap the directional keys.

Man, buy Logitech F710 for about 30-35$, so even less than game, and problem solved. I have really good keyboard and mouseb but some games are design for PADs and much more fun with it!

I have a wired Xbox controller I can use but I just love KB+M. Maybe I'll just buy it and use my controller if it's that good.

Why not just use the xbox one controller?

I started using PAD since DmC and Giana Sisters, and since than I play on controller many games and I think it is more comfortable then M&K ;) And I have really good Mouse and Keyboard (see my profile) :keyboardcat:

You can play it 100% smooth if you disable mouse smoothing with a mod! I made a guide here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2414218969 :steamhappy:
