"Press any button to continue" page on loop???

Soooo I picked this game up like, over a year ago and got side tracked with something else, now I'm wanting to pick it back up again but it's stuck on the 'press any button' page :( I was able to load into the game before I realized it wasn't picking up my controller, so I exited and made sure steam realized it was plugged in, now it's stuck on the press any button page! every time I try to click anywhere, even exit, it just reloads the "press any button" page. Anyone know any fix for this?
