The DLC costumes are obtained very, very late in the game, you need to be around level 80 or so and beat some tough arena challenges to unlock them.

Yes, you'll have to complete 3 fighting arenas, they will unlock when you'll receive an email in the game with weird numbers, at that point the pod will add their quest markers to the map.

For 2B costume you have to finish flooded city arena. No usables allowed and last fight is 70-80 lvl tough enemies, so tread lightly (though maybe you can switch to easy, equip-enable all auto chips and go afk every fight)

UPD: forgot that if you're 30+ lvls lower than enemy, you can do no damage to them, so basically you need 51+ lvl to complete the arena

this does not work out too well. OP would be doing normal quests are level up in less time than the time required for the afk fight to even finish :steamhappy: Don't bother with those methods. Just get to level 60 before finishing route A. There is a very easy xp farming exploit in route B.

yes. you have to first turn to easy difficulty. Then you make sure you have the necessary auto chips equipped(in the plug in chips menu). Mainly you need auto-attack and auto-evade equipped, it is also a great idea to put in any xp boosting chip as well(if you have one). Then you press LT or L2 on controller to actually allow the auto mode to be used. I don't remember the keyboard button but the prompt shows up all the time so don't worry.

SPOILER WARNING -
btw, OP, if you want to AFK farm xp, you can go to a location in desert where the first Adam boss fight happened, then you can go there and let auto chips do the heavy lifting. There are waves of level 35 enemies on unlimited respawn. You can hit level 35-40 in a couple of hours, but unfortunately, levelling up after that is VERY slow for that area because the xp received from lower level enemies than you is reduced.
