On top of that, there is another way of "combat" to be unlocked after 1/3 of the story It is actually a kind of top-down-shooter.
Personally, combat reminded me of Zelda OOT and MM, just faster and with shooting in parallel.
Not even close to the depth of Bayo's combat.
Not on Hard, no.
Automata is too easy on Normal. Making good use of Pod programs and weapons MUCH less relevant. Hell, I beat the game on my first try on Normal using only the Gatling and the laser...
