If you are using FAR (which I assume you aren't from your username :-P), then unlocking the framerate causes double jumping to be more difficult, likewise, if you have a very variable framerate that goes below 30 fps then that can affect it too somewhat.
I also can't save the parade from being destroyed. They're not particularly strong enemies, but I just don't have the reflexes of an adolescent any more. So I might not ever be able to do that mission. I hate escort missions in games!!! And who the **** holds a peace parade surrounded by hostiles in the middle of a war zone anyway?!?! Jeez!!!
That one big robot at the entrance to the mall was tough, but I took him out by standing on the bridge far back enough that he couldn't reach me. Took me FOREVER to defeat him just by shooting at him from a distance, but I did it!
But for the most part, I find the game to be relatively easy, even the bosses.
Ich wil den Klavierstein!
Chips can be upgraded by the merchant in front of the medical tent in the resistance camp.
2. You need to invest total 180.000 G to finish the quest. if you follow step one i mentioned above you should have plenty of money
3. Speed star is easy. you only need to stack movement speed chip as much as you can (The limit is 20% increase). you can also use pod program slow or gravity to slow down the speed star machine on 1st and 2nd race as for the 3rd race there's a way you can exploit to give you a head start (see youtube for details)
4. There's no need to acess the chest on 2nd floor to finish the quest. that chest only contain some upgrade material and not what you're looking for. 2nd chest location is on the ledge on library as for the 3rd chest is on the most right side of the broken bridge across where blacksmith Masamune is
5. You probably want to do the quest later on your 2nd playthrough it will be easier to do it with 9s using his hacking abilities otherwise you want to grinding on desert until level 35 at least
