There is no way to upgrade the normal edition to the YoRHa edition.
The only way to get the YoRHa edition if you already have the normal edition is ot remove the normal edition from your account, and buy the whole game again as the YoRHa edition.

This unfortunately is the only way to upgrade to the complete YoRHa edition. You can buy the DLC, but it doesn't include the 6 pre-order items.

I made the mistake of giving GameBillet $23 for a key that turned out to be the standard edition, and 2 days later Steam drops this to $20 for the YoRHa edition. My mistake, obviously. I asked for a refund, they said no and I said "well ♥♥♥♥ you then I'll just chargeback with Paypal lol".

I didn't. But now I feel salty even if it is just 6 worthless items I'll never use.

The page for the YoRHa is the same as it was for the original game, so if I just uninstall the game and install it again, it will not help?

a lot of devs do this. they remove the original version from steam and upload their new "complete version" like fromsoft does like the absolute cucks they are

No, uninstalling and reinstalling won't help, you're stuck with the normal edition.
The only way is the one I described in the post you quoted, removing it from your account and buying the entire game again.
