If I revoke my standard license and rebuy the Game of the Yorha Edition ....

Yorha edition is just the main game + DLC.
Just get the DLC.

Permanently removing a game from your library is just an more advanced way of hiding the game - you can actually reinstate it at any time through steam support providing you can remember what games you have removed from your library.

I'd take this to mean that if you buy the YoRHa edition, you will get the base game alone and not the YoRHa edition.

I'd take it more as a 99% certainty than a concern:
the key you currently have(independently of if you got this game via a key, each copy is tied to one) is for the standard edition, and "should you repurchase this game in the future, you will not receive a different CD key" means that if you remove it from your library and rebuy it, the exact same key is what your product will be, regardless of the dition you bought.

In terms of the game itself, the YoRHa edition is indeed just the base game + DLC, the content that is exclusive to the YoRHa edition is just wallpapers(which can be obtained anyway with a google search) and some specific cosmetic skins for the pods.

Providing you actually re-buy it as the package it will be the YorHa edition. In other words, ensure that you buy it via Steam, or an official site selling the YorHa edition.

I wish buying the DLC would just update my version to the Yorha version. I know there's only a few pod skins and masks but still, sucks to be missing out on even pointless cosmetic stuff.

It's pretty standard, considering it's not an upgrade.
As a matter of fact, the YoRHa edition is just the base game + DLC, any extra the YoRHa edition includes is a couple skins for your pods and wallpapers that can be obtained with a simple google search anyway.
