Did I mess up? Should I have saved in a new slot after ending A?

I just finished the first ending. After the credits were over it asked for you to save the game. Not thinking clearly, I overwrited my current save slot instead of choosing a new slot. Now the 2B route is gone.

Is this going to mess up anything down the road?

After finishing the entire story, you gain the ability to jump to any point you wish. Nothing is lost, just keep playing.

It definitely won't mess up anything. You're safe. Just load up the save game you made after the credits, and you will be booted into Route B.

After you complete Route C, you will unlock chapter select, which will allow you to go back to any previous part of the game, regardless of the route -- to finish up sidequests, to collect route-specific weapons, etc.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately, I messed up on something else also. I accidently read that 2B and 9s die later on and so does humanity? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spoilers. I'm so stupid lol

Is the game still worth playing now?

Uhh... Not sure exactly how you want me to answer this, in terms of confirming or denying such things. So I'll just put it in spoilers and you can read it only if you really, *really* want to know:

2B dies in the beginning of Route C; 9S dies at the ending of Route C; humanity has been dead the entire time

But yes, the game is still worth playing.

Dude, Shepard talks to a ghost kid and does unnecessary and illogical things at the end of Mass Effect 3. Was it worth playing the trilogy tho?
