rigid tree bark A2 filter change

Hi there!

I'm stuck in the moment where PAscal asks A2 to get the rigid tree bark to make the filter. I'm going to the forest zone to the marked spot and taking out all the enemies and the goliath and then it's empty. no enemy no tree bark, and I've done it over and over again and all i got from the goliath is some memory alloy or other not so interesting stuff. What should i do to progress?

From memory, you get the tree bark from drops around that arrea, ie near the trees, not from the goliath itself.

I looked it up. I'm walking around the area all the time. Even plugged the auto item uptake chip and still no tree bark :(

You don't by chance already have enough tree bark in your inventory? It can be picked up in the forest, and it's possible you might have already picked up enough previously

Looked in the items and key items and there is none :(

Just reload the save. Drop is random and I have encountered this problem In one of my playthroughs before

I found the stuff between some tree roots off to the side. Well that is where I found this quest item last night. It most certainly does not drop from enemies destroyed. But hopfully spawns next to the tree roots. If not then reload is probably your only option.

Made all of this for 2 days... reloaded the save made every side quest which was available, run the whole map in every corner and nothing. Maybe I will try with a reinstalation of the game.
