considered SE might hold the right of the product
but Cavia the developing company is already shut down
you can try waiting for 5 years
(20th anniversary of first drakengard game something might happen but i'm not holding my breath)
and it's easier to get PS NOW app on pc (if you live on US,EU with decent internet) it has 1 week free trial and NieR is up on ps store
or just get ps3 emulator (rpcs3) there's undub version of NieR:Replicant and this game has already been optimize that mid-end pc can run it no problem

Only reason we got Automata was because Yoko Taro has a very dedicated cult following. He then proved his story telling could work with a more mainstream audience, given how well Automata sold and was received.
If you have a good enough computer, just use RPCS3 (PS3 emulator). That's how I've started Gestalt on my PC. There's also an undub for Replicant if you want to play as brother Nier with subtitles.
if you wish to rip the game file from disc (assume you have game disc) then yes
but what i do is just find somewhere to download it online (basically pirate it)
just search google "NieR:Replicant ISO"
Also, Platinum Games, and Taro, have expressed interest in a Nier: Remake happening the future. We also know another "Nier-related" game is in developement right now. So who knows what's coming next.
... I'd still buy it though.
