Jackass's Research (Viable way to grind?)

Just got to this part of the game and I realized how good it might be to grind Gold/XP/Parts.

Has anyone tried it and what were the results?

My Tests - 30 Seconds To Kill Section

Test 1:
EXP: 105
Gold: 480
Drops: None

Test 2:
EXP: 126
Gold: 510
Drops: None

Test 3:
EXP: 105
Gold: 330
Drops: Rusted Clump

Test 4:
EXP: 84
Gold: 670
Drops: 2 Rusted Clump, 1 Broken Circuit

Once you get the laser pod, goto the desert arena pit (where first met Adam & Eve) and just fight the unlimited waves of bots there. The laser pod makes "mine sweeping" easy against those suicide bombers. They have some chips that might be of interest to you, thus it's a good farming spot too.

However I recommend farming the best Drop Rate Up chips from the roller coaster ride first, so you have better drop chance.

There are certain parts of the game that are good for grinding, but this is not one of them. The best one I found is later in the game.

That is a sucky way to farm...

If you want:

EXP --> do the rabbit statue in the amusement park method

G --> go fishing

Endless enemy spawn pits include the Adam boss pit in the desert, the bottom of the city ruins after the cave-in, and the copied city. These usually have good upgrade materials. You can also find chips here as well but there are some that spawns elsewhere. (For example best place to farm weapons up is when 9s is trying to hack into the tower)

The Deep caves in the city ruins have good loot too.

I farmed damage chips from the hacking the tower mission with 9s and would always kill the rabbit when I spawned in near the amusement park. Level 99 and a 8 diamond chip ezpz.

Sorry I thought it was just good the way she respawed 20 mobs every 30 seconds. I'm extremely new to the game if you couldn't tell by where I'm at :')

The difficult things are chips and rare upgrade materials. You'll end up with more money than you can spend, and normal materials max out at 99 which can be hit surprisingly easy.

I really wouldn't worry about grinding so early in the game (In fact I would discourage it). You can too easily get overpowered simply by doing the main quest and most of sidequests. Leave grinding specifically for post end game activities when you unlock the chapter select, otherwise if you get overpowered too early, you can end up finding the game too easy.

I second this. In fact I wouldn't even go for max level unless you get the DLC
