No Mission Markers, Don't Know What To Do

There aren't any mission markers on my map for main missions and the ones that are there are not accessable (I think they're side missions).
The 2 that are visable are under the Factory and are currently locked.
I don't know what I'm meant to do now and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm literally in my first run through the game and I have completed 18% of the quests (With some I didn't complete before the city got destroyed), and I have tried exploring the other areas I have unlocked and I found nothing new. The only things I can see is those 2 red dots at the factory.

All right, but what was the previous plot point? Did you try going to the Bunker?

It's been a while since I last played but I remember fighting a giant robot in the water and fighting against the 2 platinum haired twins where the alien bodies are. The last mission I completed was the quest were you give that genious robot lots of money.

The Commander will want to speak to you then, the Bunker should be your next destination IIRC. Normally, you speak to Jackass just after leaving the Alien Ship and she tells you they have set up the fast travelling system on the transporters. (soda machines)

I have been to the Bunker and spoken to the Commander multiple times and she does nothing, the only thing she says to me is to see what happened to some units or something.

That's odd. After you have talked with Jackass and then the Commander, you should have been asked to visit Pascal's village and talk to him about something. You're then asked to go to the Forest Kingdom through the commercial center.

I don't think this is a bug, you probably just missed something at some point by accident.

I just randomly found a unit in a bush, scanned it and now it's just told me to look for 9S in the Flooded region. I guess I just accidentally found what I was meant to be doing.

Oh, my bad, I didn't understand you were referring to Grȕn (the colossal machine lifeform in the ocean) all along. Glad you found out anyway, have fun!
