Is the dlc worth it?

just recently started the game and i'm around the 10-hour mark, really like it so far and i was wondering if the dlc is worth it or not.

Its just a coliseum with a ton of arena fights ( including against the developers of the game) and 2 new costumes.
It has ZERO bearing on the main game story. If you really like the fighting then sure, it can be fun. Otherwise you can easily skip it.
All achievements ingame can be done without the DLC if that is a issue.

The content is a little weak for the full price, but if you want good challenges throughout the game and post game it's a good dlc. The cosmetics are very nice but most of them are locked until you're very high level and already done with the base game though.

what do you mean by the cosmetics being locked until a higher level? so i wont be able to use them straight away if i buy it now? so do i need to get to the endgame first to use them or something?

Yup, post endgame in fact. You need to beat 3 secret challenges in the DLC which unlock at level 80.
Thats FAR in the post game.

To bring it into perspective, After playing through route A-E of the story which is the main course of the game i was at like level 65.
That was 40 hours in.

What you got from DLC, 3 Colosseum, 3 outfit, 1 side quest with sort of "unskipable" cutscenes at the end
I'll say worth it just for the quest

The DLC ending does conveys the message of the game very clearly. It is more of a side story than an expansion of the main story but it resonates with the overall theme of the game.
The colosseum is a nice challenge.
Plus you get to see more of 2B
