As for items, you should still be able to use them, although you probably need to reach the bunker again.
The main quest is different for the prologue, the same but different perspective until to some point. Then, the plot diverges after that, up until the eve boss fight.
For the side quests, there are a bunch of side quest that you can only do with 9S since it requires hacking.
All the items you got from the first playthrough is carried over to the next. So you wouldn't have to worry about it. Moreover with 9S you'll have access to the locked chests and get some cool stuff.
the fun really begins once you get dev mode and can spawn what ever you want and force your self to 1 hp, and disable some of your ablilities, and even that is training for the true final bosses of the dlc.
You shouldn't stop until ending E. There is so much more past ending A.
Your save file lists all endings you have obtained, and in alphabetical order, so if your save lists A and G, you have only obtained those.
I guess you just walked. At the start of route B, you should find and use a flight unit nearby. There is a ladder in the platform where you start as 9S. That will take you to the flight unit.
Also yeah there's some samey stuff but since you're a scaner you get backstories to some bossfights etc not as good as in the first NieR but keep going after that the storyline goes on.
It's ok. Frankly, route B is easier to finish since the bosses retain thier level from the first playthrough and hacking deals insane amount of damage. I find the boss fights significantly easier in route B than in route A. But let me warn you there are portions of that is purely hacking. Just don't skip the cut scenes.
