Ending A
I have just completed ending A. I would like to know if it's worth keeping play. I have just tried to start the game for ending B but now the main character is the boy. But, are the quests simply the same just with the main character switch? Or the new quests are new? What happened to all my items I collected? Gone forever?

In my opinion, yes, it's worth playing. You will find some main quests are the same, but there will be moments when him and 2B are apart. 9S also has some of his own side quests.

As for items, you should still be able to use them, although you probably need to reach the bunker again.

The game skips that opening sequence for one, with you pretty much going to the bunker in a fairly short amount of time. Like the.jester mentioned, there will be some slight overlap, with some sequences parallel but from a different viewpoint. Yes, it's worth continuing, as I have found out. Just stick with it, the items come back very soon.

The way I see it, the first playthrough is basically a facad. It is an illusion of what is true in the eyes of 2B. Meanwhile the second playthrough shows the truth in the eyes of 9S. The third playthrough shows the consequences of the actions of the main characters in the first and second playthroughs and where all hell break loose. If you are happy with the comforting false promises of ending A then so be it. But if you want to dig deeper for the real thing, I advise you to continue.

The main quest is different for the prologue, the same but different perspective until to some point. Then, the plot diverges after that, up until the eve boss fight.

For the side quests, there are a bunch of side quest that you can only do with 9S since it requires hacking.

All the items you got from the first playthrough is carried over to the next. So you wouldn't have to worry about it. Moreover with 9S you'll have access to the locked chests and get some cool stuff.

Stop playing after ending A, what comes after just ruins the whole story and joy in the game.

after ending a comes ending b then comes an actual extension on both a and b and that due to a single plot line and a last minuet choice leads to either ending c or ending d, get both c and d and you can attempt for ending f, ending g to z are the different "fails" and then there is ending triangle which is the dlc 3C3C1D119440927.
the fun really begins once you get dev mode and can spawn what ever you want and force your self to 1 hp, and disable some of your ablilities, and even that is training for the true final bosses of the dlc.

continue, continue, continue. You keep all your items. There are some quests that you can do again if you wish (they should still count as completed as long as you've done them once). There are some 9S exclusive quests, some of which are really worth playing.

You shouldn't stop until ending E. There is so much more past ending A.

Guys, I thought that after the ending A I would be play the ending B as you said, but I started the game and I unlocked ending AG? What is this, I don't understand?
When you played, were you 9S? If so, sounds like you abandoned the mission and got ending G

All those questions you're left with get answered in the coming routes.

Ending G is a joke ending, caused by going the wrong way at the start of route B.

Your save file lists all endings you have obtained, and in alphabetical order, so if your save lists A and G, you have only obtained those.

I guess you just walked. At the start of route B, you should find and use a flight unit nearby. There is a ladder in the platform where you start as 9S. That will take you to the flight unit.

I love it that the devs put these as "endings" in the game. I chuckled probably too much over it. Especially the OS chip and mackerel ones.

Yes because the game is not finished after finishing ending B the game goes on.
Also yeah there's some samey stuff but since you're a scaner you get backstories to some bossfights etc not as good as in the first NieR but keep going after that the storyline goes on.

Is it safe to rush story B tough? Because I find I don't like the 9S way to fight aand I don't like the hacking minigames...

It's ok. Frankly, route B is easier to finish since the bosses retain thier level from the first playthrough and hacking deals insane amount of damage. I find the boss fights significantly easier in route B than in route A. But let me warn you there are portions of that is purely hacking. Just don't skip the cut scenes.
