Its basically perfect except for a few small things that aren't even important anyways and a few technical issues. The PC port could have been better but at least its actually playable unlike Arkham Knight.
An anime adaptation would be good i guess but the way the story in Automata wouldn't make that adaptation as amazing as the game.
As a side note i kind of dislike they changed Nier to an old man in the western version, mostly due to the romantic implications further in the game so yeah.
Thanks for even more info, both of ya are being pretty helpful! I really can't wait to play, only a few more months away for the holidays to come by so I can pick it up, the sheer thought of playing another experience like this is just killing me.
A few small things... One might call them imperfections... So basically every game is perfect except for their imperfections.
(((genius)))
Never played Nier Gestalt/Replicant myself but from watching others' playthoughs I'd have to declare the original Nier has the more impactful and heart wrenching message to deliver. The basis on why Yoko Taro even made the game is enough to make one pause to contemplate the current psyche of the gaming (and in broad, entertainment) industry.
If you're going into NIER, I would suggest doing it for the story, music and characters (all excellent), and just get ready to deal with some "meh" gameplay.
