Are there any better places other than Adam's Boss Pit in the desert?

I farmed it from the enemies on the way to the pit. Just kill them (there's like 10 or so) go back to save, load, repeat.

Shockwave is pretty good but I still prefer extra critical.

You can buy them from Emil, and eventually +6 version too when you have high level.

Also, after a certain level it´s more worth it to farm XP in the city than the desert. Higher level enemies also drop better loot.
