Invincible Robot - Mission: Resistance Disappearance

I can't progress this mission because the "Bloodstained Robot" (Level 35) can't take anymore damage when it has 5% health left.

I'm level 40 and playing as 9S and this guy won't die. I tried hacking him multiple times and trying all the pod abillities but this guy won't die.

I'm wondering if I'm missing something for the story or is this game just broken?

Probably a bug. Try reloading last save and beating it again. No requirements needed to beat it, killed this robot by 2B on both of my playthroughs.

This mission worked fine for me too, nothing odd, just the good old straightforward "kill the dude".

I tried reloading multiple times, turning off the game and restarting does not work.

Did you play as 2B or 9S?

you arent using the "fps unlocker" option in the FAR mod are you? Unlocking the frame rate past 60fps has been known to cause some issues with the game, specifically with cutscenes and character placement but I wouldnt be surprised if that would be causing the issue. If you have that turned on by chance, turn that option off and then reload your save and try again

I'm not using anything with mods, but do you think it has to do with settings? I'm using fullscreen on normal difficutly. I honestly don't know what to do. I'm level 50 now and he still stops taking damage at the 10% mark

im not really sure man, ive never actually encountered that problem. Have u tried killing him without hacking? Or is it just all damage in general that he becomes immune to?

Not really sure, ive never encountered that issue before. If you want to wait to do that quest u unlock chapter select after u clear route C if u want to go back and do that quest again, maybe it wont be bugged after that. Other than restarting your game or maybe try "verify game file integrity" under your game properties on steam to make sure that your files are good or reloading a prior save, I dont have a fix for it sadly :( Wish i could help more

Or you can trigger one joke ending such as remove OS chip. Then the game will save. Restart. Problem solved with me! ;D

I'm in the same situation. The robot just won't die no matter what... Tried lowering difficulty, tried shotting, tried 9S attacking... The only thing left I have to is self destruct xD I'll try this night. Loaded, several different days, he won't die. Frustrating...

UPDATE. I MANAGED TO KILL IT! I don't know what... After dozens of different attempts in different moments, this time I... did id...

Right before A2 battle. Maybe some trigger here?
I got ZERO chips equipped (only system ones) and, in the middle of fight, I equiped the Taunt +300% chip. One thing to note: i had the enemy-health-display chip, the FIRST TIME in the game I equip it (unequipped after prologue).
I don't really know what to say... My weapon was the beast largesword lvl1 unupgraded... And I'm over lvl30... Was so random... But I'm happy. Same A playthrough.
