Less sexulised outfit for 2B?

I dont mind nudity and I hate censorship but it is a bit awkward when your mates and family see you playing a game where the main character is in heels, thigh highs and her boobs and bubble but are hanging out.

It gets pretty old explaining 'Yea well it's a Japanese game they are all like that, it is actually pretty good though'.

Come on Japan join us in 2017. Nudity is cool when you are 16 but I actually am more interested in the gameplay and story, and I do not think 2B's ♥♥♥♥♥ is a massive plot device.

As far as I can tell there is no way to change outfit. Can anyone reccomend a mod that will give her something warmer to wear?

Say what you like but I dont think anyone can deny she is waring a skimpy outfit to the point where normies will find it questionable or at the very least amusing.

If you actually read my op I am not saying she is a bad character or that I dont love the game, it is just that I am tired of being questioned about it when people see me playing. If only I could equip some armour or something people would just think I am playing a normal hack n slash and not some kinky jrpg dating sim.

Don't let other people shame you about this. If they judge you based on 2B's outfit, then they're being superficial. Which can happen to all of us, granted. But what's important is not what they think, it's what you think. 2B is wearing a sexy outfit, and you may or may not like it, but if someone passes by and goes "woaw, sexy babe with katana destroying hordes of robots", well, first, they're right, and secondly, either they're enough open-minded that you can easily show them that it's just the surface, or they're close-minded, in which case, do not bother starting a discussion they're not ready to have.

Point is, you should not have to justify yourself for your tastes, if people are making shallow judgments, it's their loss, not yours.

Frankly, after games like Dragon Age where you could ♥♥♥♥ with anybody and everything, these kinds of discussions in 2017 are kinda silly... Even more so after The Witcher too... FFS 2 started with Triss NAKED. We are talking about a machine in weird clothing? Lelz

The only thing sexy in the game are the androids and Adam/Eve and there is almost nothing sexual in it (except if you use your imagination )

why? she is realy hot, it was made like that have you ever seen Anime and i don´t mean Hentai? ever seen Ghost in the Shell? Its an android absolute nude- well its an android so i don´t see a problem and she is only nude when she wear a carmuflage suite...

Yes Anime is mostly sexualiced- but not every anime... ever seen Paprika? No sexual stuff at all- why not we life in a not prude world... i don´t see the problem maybe i´m from europe and we don´t have this big issues with censorships- well not in a nudity way. And to say it like overwatch yes 2b got a but and boobs and a huge waepons as well.
I don´t see the outfit so sexual after playing it for 3-4 hours know its actualy pretty dark like a noir film... its dark fantasy a bit victorian style steampunk? if you will and to talk from a designers aspect its well done.
And btw its not the only outfit for 2B. A simpler way is not to play it while your family is around:)

This guy got the point, if you think this game is inappropriate to show your family( or someone think it is inappropriate), then you can just stop play around them or explain to them as we are living in 2017 already, these kind of dressing is kinda usual especially with Japanese anime or game artist.

Also, when we compare the surface area of each android which is covered by any kind of clothing, A2 is way too obvious that to be the first to receive some new clothing as she wear far less than any one you can encounter in NieR Automata. But you did not mention anything about her. So.... It is about you.

Most important is, this game rated at 18 in my country for bad language and violence only. Which mean even the game rating organization do not think the dress or outfit is sexy enough to be rated for 18.

1 - it's not nude is someone is wearing a bodysuit..

2 - Ghost In The Shell (even Stand Alone Complex) has some clear 'fan-service sexualized moments. It's not for everyone.

3 - The outfit is lolita/Gothic fashion

4 - He probably wouldn't play Tekken infront of family if NieR is too much.

5 - It's not anime.. Like.. At all. Some of the facial structures have the very 'V' shaped jaw.. but that's pretty much it. Nothing else is really anime inspired and the artstyle is far from it.

Im glad that you have decided to take the route of "let me just randomly join in the discussion of a game that I don't own/don't care about and don't really even know whats going on and then proceed to insult everyone and discredit their arguments based purely on a single characters design" cliche. Also, hes being labled a "prude" because its a fu cking video game character that he previously said was "oversexualized" despite the only sexual thing in nature that she's wearing is high heels and a miniskirt, which is very common attire in modern day Japan, which is where this game takes some of its inspiration from anyways. Despite the OP's perceived "slu tty" attire, you really dont see under her skirt all too often as it is anyways, so I'm not really sure what the problem is anymore...

Definitedly, if it´s for the looks age rate of even 12 is ok IMO... there is the pantsu, Adam´s butt and that´s it.

But... FFS 18 because of language and violence? Where the hell do you live? The "bloody" scenes are a joke compared to stuff like One Punch Man, so is OPM considered 18+ there too?
