Exiting City Ruins: Deep Cave?
Is there a way to exit the Deep Cave in the City Ruins? I jumped in thinking maybe there's a shop, but it's a dead end on one end and a boss fight on the other, that I'm severely unprepared for.

If there isn't, I'm immediately refunding this game, because I'm getting really annoyed at the severe lack of conveyance this travesty of a game has.

Nope. Once you go down there for the main mission you can't go back until you finish the fight.
Anyways, that boss fight is a narrative tool. You don't have to win. You have to live to the end of their conversation. And that's a breeze on any level, any difficulty thanks to the dodge mechanic.

If you're where I think you are, just about the center, between the dead and waterfall, there is an elevator. Go up and run along the ledge back to the bridge.

you just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up yourself. Go and survive the fight. That's all, no need to kill, I think.

The reason the developer gives you no way out of there (apart from loading a savegame) is because it's not necessary. You can't be "severely unprepared" as the most you have to do is dodge for a minute.

And apparently you already faced the boss and (somehow) lost which should place you somewhere outside of the crater. So where's even your problem?

It doesn't place me near the crater. It places me in the boss room. I tried escaping, and it's just a dead end.

With someone with improper grammar and the use of "srsly" how about you lead by example, hm?

So just run around and dodge for 90 seconds. The fight is over once they're done talking.
It's really not hard.

Yeah, I've just been told about that.

You can get out of there. All you have to do is double jump and evade in the right spot.

Any specific location or should I just feel around for it. Not at my desk ATM so I can't check.

Did you finish that boss fight down there? Then go back the way you came. Jackass will be waiting by a save point in the entrance to cave. Also a ladder appears.

Getting to this point also unlocks fast travel.

Haven't gotten to it, decided to knock out some side-quests for monies and EXP, but I'll keep that in mind, didn't realize fast travel was a thing. Thanks for that info

Don't worry about breaking any side quests, you can come back and do them all at your leisure after End C I believe. This is quite a ways in, especially considering that End A and B are in a sense prologues.

I noticed that some of the endings doesn't seem to restart the game, but I'm gonna keep an extra save ready just in case
