Ending E *Heavy Spoilers!!!!!!!*
So i've just come back from completing this games main endings and wow. What a rollercoaster of emotions, plotwists, and character development.

But never was I prepared for the beauty that was Ending E, from the credits, to the mini game, to the frustration, the soundtrack. the refusal to give up or use help (as influenced by the soundtrack), and finally the inevitable of putting away your pride and accepting the help ogf the myriad of other players that all seemingly had your back.

Words cant express what a joy it was to play through this game, thanks Square and Yoko Taro for the amazing ride.

Back to Ending, E, what were your thoughts on its unique little mini game twist?

I thought it was pretty amazing and I liked how you could make a choice to help but with as heavy consiquences as is possible from a game. Yeah, really amazing game even with the weird bugs I had before the community patch.

The only thing missing was the song Machine Head. How could they not have included that?

I liked the bit where the Pod's basically piss all over the game. The game asks 'Why do people do things?' And the Pod's answer is 'Sometimes there doesn't have to be a reason.'

Really, that's my final take away from the game - That sometimes things are just things, and stuff happens just because. The androids and machines obsession with 'Why' is whats killing them, and by extension, the player, and everyone would probably be better off if they just accepted the world and themselves as they are.

Just made it through. Now I don't have any save files, but that doesn't matter. THIS. WAS. BEAUTIFUL.

The beauty of ending E was that it was basically the players taking the unhappy end of Route C/D and going "this cannot continue". In C/D, the main characters are dead, and the pods are getting ready to wipe the last bits of project yorha data and start the endless cycle over again. But then, the player (through the pods) halts the cycle, and together we fight for and earn a happy ending for 2B, 9S and A2. We then make the ultimate sacrifice (our saves) in order to ensure that others can save the main characters as well. The fact that the game involves the player so directly in the story felt very touching.

It's very similar to Undertale in this, I think Yoko Taro got some inspiration from it. Or maybe geniuses think similarly.
