How To do long Jumps
Hold X (jump) before you get off the platform, press R2 to dash off, then square (You will do a round kick with your pod). Now let go of X and press X+Square for an upwards attack, keep X pressed and press square again for roundkick, then if you still aren't there press X + r1 and your pod will launch you.

I found this is the easiest way to do a long jump on keyboard = to get a small boost in horizontal distance double tap w WHILE jumping off the ledge at the same time, now do another jump for double jump, then space + shift at the same time for pod jump, then while holing down space (descending by grabbing the pod) press right mouse button for short helicopter spin, immediately after than double tap w for airdash, descend again, now you can use helicopter spin again one time, after than you can't descend with the pod anymore (by holding jump button)
