I have practically every ending, and am using the chapter select.
Can someone show me exactly where the elevator is? I was certain it was the one between CIty Ruins and the Forest, the big complex that you first meet Emil in, the elevator right in the center?
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Alright, yeah, seems like I gotta do it again. Thanks!
Now i have chapter select but i've tried every possible chapter inbetween The Forest King and The Missile Supply Mission. None of them will allow me to use the elevator, and none of them allow me to re-start the quest by going to the first lunar tear in the commerical building.
can ANYONE help me find a fix???
-- edit -- if you are having the same problem as me, the fix is to find him in the city ruins and talk to him (i also bought an item) and that seemed to re-set him allowing me to start the quest again. (Missile supply chapter)
1. Save your game and finish any side quests (they'll reset after the next step).
2. In Chapter Select, choose chapter 07-01 as 2B.
3. When the chapter loads, don't talk to Pascal. Instead, turn around and run to the entrance to the Desert Camp from the City Ruins (or travel to Desert Camp and run towards the City Ruins).
4. Kill any machines nearby and hit Emil with a bullet. Talk to Emil. I tested both ways, and you do NOT need to buy anything from him (but he's happier with you when you do). When you back out of the convo, he'll talk about where he lives, which is what triggers the ability to start the quest again.
5. Go to the shopping complex and interact with the lunar tear (there will be a "???" quest marker for it on the map). Now you'll be able to complete the quest fully this time!
Took me hours to figure this combo out. Hope it saves people some time haha
