Is Intercourse Even Possible with Androids? Do they have the equipment?

I swear to god this is a lore question. Obviously, there is a tad bit of sexual tension between MANY characters throughout the game, and without getting too spoilery here, I was wondering how that's even possible.

Suspension of Disbelief is kind of hard to do sometimes, and this is one of those times.

What influences do these androids have that make them have romantic feelings for another android? But more importantly, what would make them think that going to pound town is a viable option given their... functionality?

I appreciate the depth of writing here about what consittutes existance. I also see the point of what is considered "living" vs what is being just a program.

TL;DR - As the lost little sister puts it, "Mister, how do you make a baby?" That is quite a good question for machines and androids since they support no sense of biological function nor do they have the proper hardware to pound.

VERY SIGNIFICANT SPOILERS:
- We know that machines can reproduce, and everything that makes a machine capable of doing what it does is in the Machine Cores.
- YorHa black boxes are based on machine cores, instead of traditional android makes, so they should have the ability to reproduce one way or another.
- We have seen that newer YorHa models are modelled anatomically similar to humans, with synthetic flesh, blood, all senses of touch, and even the need for body heat (seen in the twins' short story, where "staying warm" was actually a concern for them). As such, it's really not far-stretched to say that they don't also have genitalia, given that everything else is pretty much... replicated.
- Finally, as shown above in Route B's Adam fight, why would a machine with no genitals taunt 9S of wanting to pork 2B, if he can't? ;)

;TLDR: Ending E is actually the prequel to Platinum Game's first adult visual novel (E for Eroge), where 9S is in a harem with 2B, A2 and the rest of the surviving YorHa females (i.e. 1 in Oasis, and 2 drugged ones in Oil Field). Plenty of females left in the world for 5 routes! I mean, they've literally put a segment of interactive visual novel in their hack & slash game as practice!
