Problem redeeming steam key

Hi

Today i bought a physical copy of 'NieR Automata' and i tried to redeem my key through this redeem.exe thing but everytime i put in the code from the leaflet and i click redeem i get 'Server Error' .

Has anyone else experienced this problem ? If so how did you fix it ?

Hahaha go google s k i d r o w game. I am definitely not "buying" SE games from another source. :D

But on that note, that is why I bought the phy copy too. But I was told off saying I am stupid for buying a phy copy... How was I too know that SE will heck up like this.

Oh well, we all live and learn and wait for SE support to do their job.

I had this a few days ago - it's their server; nothing on your side. The key redemption server has been going down now and again. Email SE Support anyway, and they should let you know once it's up. :)

I think we all learned an important lesson today: SE punishes you for actually paying for their games. Still all I get is "Server Error" and of course no answer from support because they dont work on weekends.

As if CEG + Denuvo weren't enough, they slapped their own DRM on physical copies as well. Not to mention their lack/delay of support for the PC platform.

Square Enix has to be one of the most anti-customer companies out there. Too bad that such an awesome game got plagued by this company.

Only today i saw how many reported buggs and other nuisances there are for the PC version. LoL and apparently a 3rd party patch to get stuff working. I feel so stupid, even more then last night trying to activate the game, normaly i research this stuff in advance. Now im happy i couldnt activate my copy and F it, just decided im just gonna let ebay, at least mildly correct my mistakes. And put it on my "Maybe someday, when my graphics card is to old and i buy a PS4 to catch up what i missed" list alongside HorizonZDawn and FFXV, its a shame, good games, but... shame.

Update: They sent me an e-mail to " to notify me that my ticket was received properly". Well, at least one thing that worked properly so far.
