What's your favorite song?
It is simply impossible not to fall in love with the soundtrack of Nier Automata and, of course, the involvement that the track has with the game, its history.

So, I decided to create this topic so that we can know, through exchanges of experiences, a little of this work.

1 - Peaceful Sleep (vocal)

I really loved the Middle-Eastern/Crusades battle theme. I thought I enjoyed the song with the Japanese women singing in (the one that sounds like something from Ghost in the Shell), but this song takes the cake!

I haven't heard a song this good in a video game in a long time. I'm glad I took a chance with this game and threw £40 at it, because by Saint George it's worth it!

Possessed by Disease and A Beautiful Song are probably the two best tracks. It's no wonder they used those for promoting the game. It's kind of interesting that they're only used once each in the game (plus once without vocals for the latter), and the respective boss fights where they play are two of the best if not THE best fights in the game, in no small part thanks to how the fights are choreographed to the music.

Weight of the World End of YorHa version , Amusement Park, and Kaine: Salvation, though that's technically from the first game.

1 - Wretched weaponry
2 - Destruction Grandma
3 - Crumbling Lies
Favorites. But whole soundtrack is freaking awesome.

The Simone boss fight and Birth of a Wish.

I really liked all of the music in this game. It did a lot to add to the emotional stirrings of key scenes and plot devices, and wasn't too distracting that I'd want to only listen to it without the game.

I remember really enjoying the music that played when all the robots ran around screaming "This cannot continue" before a boss fight... I think it was a song that sampled their voices saying this cannot continue and forming a beat around it? Maybe I'm just imagining this...

This was when you fight Adam for the first time, and yes it was awesome how its mixed in the song, allthough I played it in japanese so I dont know how well it sounded on english.

Thank you for that info. I will see if I can find that fight again in chapter select.

"Birth of a Wish"

And it took me QUITE a while to find the name of the track. This soundtrack have some heavy hitters, but it's this track that has me put on repeat.
