No Sound when starting game

Booted up the game and it was odd hearing no sound in the menus. When i started a new game i made sure that all the sound options were at max and all looked good. Got to the opening cutscene and still no sound at all. Double checked that its not my system and it isn't, everything else works fine except the sound in this game. Looked for other threads all over the internet and no one else is having this issue.

Turns out when the sound is outputing to my headphones the sound wont work. But when i switch the output to speakers then it will work. Odd but i hope this helps other people who are having the same issue

Not sure if this relates to you, but after I updated my Nvidea drivers all my audio stopped working. I had to go back in to playback settings and set my speakers to default device and my headphones to default communications device. Then go to recording devices and set the stereo mix to output to the headphones. Now my sound is fixed, outputs to both speakers and headphones and I can mute speakers and just hear through the headphones.
