Report a translation problem
This problem of unselectable game options eventually creates a game-killing problem at the second stage of the game, when replaying as 9S. For some unknown reason, the game developer has chosen to interact with the game's Menu options mid-game, and the unselectable Sound options creates an infinite game loop - requiring Task Manager forced quit.
By the way, Square Enix concluded their support interaction by saying this problem does NOT occur with their stand-alone version (no Steam Services). They feel this problem is unique to Steam and its version. Steam's version will NOT run without Steam services, and they felt that something was happening in Steam's wrapping of this game.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem, appearing even with new game and new savefile?
By the way, Steam support pointed me to this forum topic during my latest problem report interaction, but they are not researching their game wrapper, still insisting that Square Enix must solve the problem.
