Which Drakengard though because the first one isn't all that good. In fact none of them are particularly good.

I assume OP refers to Drakengard 1, since NieR is based off of its 5th ending.

I prefer Nier. I don't think that Steam would like to have Drakengard in which one of the companion is a pedophil and a second is a canibal who eats childrens, because he thinks that inside him they will be safe.

Yes, but remaster can be done also on PC. Also at the start Nier: Automata was an exclusive for PS4.

Yes, but there have been quite a few ports and rereleases over the last year. Look at the near-entire Final Fantasy line, Grandia 2, and Ty the Tazmanian Tiger, for example. Also, SE already hinted that NieR might be ported if Automata does well.

jRPG ports had a good start with Valkyria Chronicles. But nowadays most seem to sell like ♥♥♥♥. Look at Atelier.

FF is a great title.
There are other great exclusive titles, much better than Drakengard and NieR.

I wouldn't mind Nier on PC but Drakengard 1? no thanks, the gameplay is worse than Niers and the story doesn't make up for it. Besides, nobody really needs to play through Drakendgard 1 to know what happens. All they need to do is watch the 5th ending and know that the monster that was killed spread a disease and the dragon that got killed was the foundation of magic. Simple.

Pretty sure that's a bonus video in Nier anyway

Whereas I enjoyed Drakengard 1 deeply and would much rather achieve the ending rather than "look up a video". But, again, opinions.

Drakengard 1 is like a fever dream, to be honest. You're just wondering where the hell is this thing going, and then it goes straight into hell and beyond.

That being said, if a Drakengard 1 remaster were to ever happen, the mechanics need to be improved.

Drakengard 1 for sure. Until this day I still have the last boss soundtrack stuck in my head. And Nier 1 would be cool as well.

I hope they consider porting Drakengard 3 too.

Nier and Drakengard 3 are obvious candidates. The rest will come later if these sell well.

Uh... the company that made all of those was liquidated a while back. Probably unlikely to get Steam releases, as the people who made this game are not the ones who own those games, and the people who own those games probably don't have any interesting in digging up games that ancient and, well... they weren't considered very good back in the day.

But who knows?
