No, this is complete bullcrap. In a game where you die and just respawn, losing TWO HOURS OF PROGRESS is complete and utter garbage. HORRIBLE game design. How the hell did this make it through test? I want to punch the game maker in the face.

I read the text, saved, then ate the mackerel. Laughed my add off then reloaded my save and lost nothing. Maybe your upset because you're stupid? That happens with stupid people a lot. Be less stupid, and you won't be so upset all the time.

Yeah. That was the idea. There is more to the game than what is programmed into it. The meta game is working as intended. It was your fault for not listening to Jackass, and then for not saving. It's brilliant game desgin.

I think I had to go to the start of that chapter in chapter select to get it to work when I was going for every ending.

Yes, but it is poor game design to game-over the player when the player has no idea there are game-overs. I was right at the save machine, I should have respawned there when I died, just like every other time I died.

That's exactly why it is as it is though: something happens that you didn't expect, if you knew it could happen, it wouldn't have the same effect, these are joke endings that are supposed to take the player by surprise...is it a surprise if you know it's coming?

If you were at the save machine, maybe you should have saved, especially considering the game does tell you to save often, that you should always save when possible, and that Jackass does tell you the fish has horrible effects on androids and to not blame her if you die. I saved there, and respawned there.

Lol I just started the game like 2 weeks ago and before I started I read a spoiler free 'tips for beginners' guide and the guy said, if you fish keep the mackarels, because it heals you, so I was hyped when Jackass gave me the mackarel, and you know what happened after, luckily I did save just before eating it because I read the warning.

Its like a kings quest death you do intentionally. "watch out graham! a poisonous snake!" *clicks on snake* graham walks over, snake attacks and death animation you wanted to see, and game over screen, with sometimes silly comments on silly deaths.

nearly 40 years of gaming has taut me to save before trying anything , still get caught out sometimes .
