Destroy the multi legged goliath ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bullshittery
So i believe im near the end of my frist play through, and im at the part just after the resistance camp is ambushed by zombots and you have to go "Search the area outside the resistance camp", but i cannot kill the multi legged goliath. I have no small, large or medium heals because i used them on the last ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss fight with the SAME boss, and every time i run behind something to take cover from one of its stupid 3 shot kill attacks the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ climbs up a building and regens all his health.

This HAS to be a gimmic bossfigth but everytime i try and find out something hidden, or go and transport to get more heals it wont let me. I really like this game and ive tried to look past its flaws, but this ♥♥♥♥ is ruining it for me and i really dont wanna stop playing :c PLEASE tell me if this is a gimmick, or its just straight up hard.

You dont have any chips to heal yourself? Like when you damage the little robots or when you hit things?
Cmon man wtf lol?
I just kept circling him far outside and just kept range nuking him.

Lol. Spam dodge. Install chips that let you drain health from machines on attack. There's another chip that auto heals by 1% or 2% per SECOND if you don't take any damage after 6 seconds. It becomes OP if you combine the fact you can chain evade forever.

how you run out of heals? I always have like 25 v2 and v3 heals ready, heals are probably the core of the game for normal players.

Also try ot use auto item chips if you dont want risk too much during fights.

Chips. There is no leveling and skill trees in this game, instead there are chips you can install through the skills menu. The first option is for pod programs (your pod's "skill"), and the second is your main character's abilities.
You have to stock up on healing items, and customize your chips. I always use auto-heal and the one that gives you life when you kill enemies, forgot the name. Also mash dat dodge button son, and lower the difficulty for this fight if you're actually 100% stuck. Even if it's not fun to "cheat" like that, I'd do it just to continue the story.

Hey, buddy!

Sounds like you're like me - you probably did the main plot, ignored all equipment and chips, and tried to play this like an actual Platinum title which can be completed on the highest difficulty level with only stock equipment.

Yeah, don't do that.

This game is not an action game. It's an RPG. You'll need to level up or you're stuck doing chip damage to everything from here on out (especially if you start a new playthrough). The final boss can easily take +45 minutes to slowly chip death if you're severely underleveled only use stock equipment.

Poke around in the RPG stuff, it's unfortunately not optional. Or just lower the difficulty to Easy and let it play itself. The gameplay itself is pretty poor compared to previous Platinum titles.

listen to me guys, i have no healing items because i used them ALL on the last boss fight i did, which was literally minutes before this one. not to mention that the resistance camp ambush is really difficult

If you can teleport back to the bunker, you can buy some from the item shop in your quarters.

Otherwise, take a look at your Chips under the Skills menu and see if there's any "Auto-Heal", "Deadly Heal", or "Offensive Heal" chips.

i cant teleport anywhere transport is disabled :c
Peshmerga Mar 21, 2017 @ 5:53pm
Welp, switch to Easy mode and install the Auto Evade chip.
Butts McGee Mar 21, 2017 @ 5:54pm
Oh, ♥♥♥♥ man. I think... you might be totally screwed. Try throwing the difficulty down to Easy, equip the auto-chips and see if you can let the game farm some levels and random drops.

You should be able to get some chips and healing items from those random drops with some luck.

There's even some chips that will increase item drop rates from enemies.

EDIT: When I say "let the game farm", I really do mean just that. If you equip all of the auto-chips, the game will literally play itself. You just need to press B from time to time to pick up items.

I beat this boss on Hard without items the first time through. You can certainly beat it on Easy at the very least.

i am playing on easy and havign a much sounder time. saving every 30 seconds because on easy you can do that, i am ashamed as ive never ever playedf a game on easy since i was a little kiddo, but i will turn it back up to normal as soon as possible
