Partner combat style
Just curious, since your partner is controlled by AI and they cannot die. Wouldn't it be the best to pick as aggressive combat style as possible to assist you in fighting? I don't really see the need to have such a wide variety of different combat styles to select.
A liitle help pls!? Cheers

I've found that agressive just makes my partner attack a lot of things I don't want them to :/

aggressive is no fun, ai will attack everything and prevent you from excuting attacks how you want (setting up attack, being sneaky etc). i didn't like it, try it and see.
Thanks for the fast reply
So you mean they will even attack the neurtal bots? (O - o)
Ok... that sucks, might change it back to balance then...
Wait, you can stealth this game!?
riggz666 Mar 21, 2017 @ 7:12am
from what i remember ai will attack everything in range inc animals. having several boars chasing you is not fun.
not really stealth but it sometimes helps to plan an attack against harder enemies, aggressive ai just jumps right in
Indeed, animal deals truck-load of damage in this game... so what is your preferred style? or should I stay in balanced?

balanced or passive is my preferred - the ideal is probably the opposite of what your are doing most (playing as 2B mainly uses melee attacks so set ai to do ranged etc).
You got a very good point, much appreciated mate. Just one last question, what is the difference between balanced and passive style?

balanced seems to mean ai will do a variety of attacks (melee and ranged) and passive ai will attack much less leaving you to do most of the attacking.
Thank you very much, your answers help me a lot!

no prob, have fun :)
Always use agressive or passive. At least with the sachets he will not attack random animals. He will attack passive mobs but not allies (so he won't kill the machine village people but he will butcher the amusement park randoms).

Agressive is broken OP as it basically lets him do the work while you stand there and shoot things.

EDIT: also passive will cause him not to attack at all, its not less attacking, its none.

Oh, I never knew that, I guess I'll switch to agressive during combat and balanced during traveling then. thx for the additional info!
