Do chips stack?
If I have 2 4% weapon attack up chips installed do they stack or only highest value used?

They stack. There is an eventual effect limit (drop rate caps at 90% for instance).

They stack until you reach a hardcap. (Example Speed 20% max)

Cool thanks. Is the cap found experimentally (or looking it up) or does it say anywhere?

It tells you when you exceed the cap and what the cap is but not until then as far as I can tell

So going back into topic, I also wonder how this stacking works. Say, you have two of the same chip and each gives +10%. Fusing them gives +15%, so if the formula is straight addition, if you do have the space to add the two, then you get 20%?

Sure, of course fusing and compacting allows you to add more later, but I'm at that stage where I have some chips I want to use and some I don't want on my build, so I can give myself the temporary liberty of adding two chips instead of fusing.

If how I'm understanding it to work is correct, then yes. Also helpful if you have the lost cost variant of some chips.
