What is the language of the songs?
It doesn't sound like Japanese for me.

Its an invented language, same with the OST of NieR 1.

Follows the same route as shadow of the colossus. Mix of english, japanese, spanish, french etc.

Take a few languages like French, English, etc, try to imagine how they transform over centuries. Make some lyrics for a song.

Because the previous game starts over a thousand years in the future, and this one does even more.

i’m so late but it sounds like a mix of a bunch. it says Nien which is german so maybe that too i dunno im pretty stupid

It's called Chaos Language, it's supposed to be what Yoko Taro thinks japanese could sound like in a thousand years- :nier_resistance:
