Shoutout to those trying to defeat the hardest boss in the game
White screen is a ♥♥♥♥♥ to deal with, even with the suggestion of upgrading our weaponry it still loves to happen.
I'm on my 10th try to get to the first save point.
Okay serious mode I know there's an issue with the RX 400 series cards but has anyone else heard anything else? It's rather frustrating toi crash once more on the white screen...
I can only tolerate Large enemy groups for so long T-T

I'm relatively new to AMD so I'm not sure how to rollback myself.
Have you tried making this fix it's own thread? it seems to be common enough that people could use it.

be happy that there atleast is a solution for AMD that works for most people. At nvidia most people with a gtx 700 series card still cant play the game.

That's just the thing, the solution DOESN'T work xD I've rolled back and used the newer one, neither works.
I was fooled to believe it did, I was at the finale of the Prologue

Ok, do this

Download this AMD driver version.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous/detail?os=Windows%208.1%20-%2064&rev=16.11.5
It's the one most people use that fixes the issue.

Then head to
C:\Program Files\AMD\CIM\Bin64
In that folder there is a exe file called AMDCleanupUtility.exe run that and it will remove all of the drivers and programs for AMD cards. Don't worry, this is how you should install drivers anyway.

The program will tell you when it's done and the screen will black out like 2 or 3 times. When it's done it'll want to reboot your PC.

Now go to where you downloaded the driver version and install it. Also don't have auto update on when it's done installing or it'll just download a newer version.

I had white screen of death on the newest driver version no matter what, but that older driver helped me get the game working and how I have had no crashes.

rolling back my drivers disabled my second monitor and wont detect it. This is ridiculous

Yeah it did it for me too. As soon as I reinstalled my drivers it fixed itself thought.
Did you follow Zefar's step by step?
