Graphics sucks?

Are there some tricks to improve it, like mods or something?

This can't even be justified by saying "It's a console port".

It's some PS3 graphics level. Or even late PS2.

This game isn't really about graphical fidelity, it's about gameplay, and it has that in spades.

I think the problem here is that the world is all loaded always or something. It's like the devs decided to break the rules of how open world and polygon limits should be designed in a way to show a lot of terrain without breaking the hardware it's running on. It's the only explanation I can have for having a game that looks like a PS3 era thing to give so many problems to both the PS4 (it's not a smooth ride there either, kids) and PC.

Scalebound (before it got cancelled) looked amazing and Next-gen level. But this game was supposedly made by the B-team of platinum games. Graphically it might not be up there with alot of recent games, but they got the gameplay on lockdown.

Not really. It has mediocore gameplay. It's about 2B's ass. 2B's ass in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics.

The graphics are definitely not the greatest, but they really aren't the focus of Nier. Go for FF if you want super visuals JRPG, but you sacrifice the gameplay and awesome story for it.

It may not have the best graphics, if you don't like the game because it's not so good looking, stop playing it. Easy as that... If you like to know the story behind this game then go ahead and play it... Played more than 2 hours? No? Then refund it and stfu please.

The graphic sucks, but the action animation is amazing, personally I'd take good animation over good graphic.

Modded Skyrim has amazing graphic for screenshot, but when stuff moves it looks bad because modder cannot fix ♥♥♥♥♥♥ animations.

Looks as graphical fidelity as real world to me.

Just disable all ingame post processing, and you use a Reshade preset.
