ps4 controller? (resolved)

i cant get my ps4 controller to work and i have already tried dling DS4 windows
anyone else have/had this same issue?

Mine works well, but the buttons are mapped incorrectly from game to controller. It's rather annoying. Hope they patch this and the display issue fast.

I'm having the same issue. I have DS4 windows installed and it works fine on other games but I can't seem to get it to work properly on Neir for some reason. The game dosen't detect any input from my PS4 controller but my Xbox 360 controller will work fine. While I can play the game on my 360 controller I feel like this game is more comftorable to play on a PS4 controller.

Go to BigPicture (top right next to minimize/close etc, select Nier>Manage game and play with controller options. DS4 works fine for me.

Go to BigPicture, settings, controller settings and choose ps4

You can try the "Hide DS4 Controller" Option. Mine works fine.

Don't know if the issue was already resolved, but for me, my DS4 controller will not work unless I open DS4Windows after Nier. If I open Nier first then it wont work, except for the touch pad, which is bound to the cursor (default)

Don't use DS4 windos/InputMapper with Nier.
Steam has (since 2-3 months) integrated PS4 controller support, and I did had conflicts untill I closed DS4.
As mentioned, check what controllers are detected by Steam (in Big Picture mode), and ensure PS4 compatibility option is checked.
