SLI support/scaling it's a hit'n miss
Your GPU is drawing a lot of power for the performance it offers (not to mention 2 680's in SLI)
Does your PSU have 4 PCI-E connectors... ? (probably not... )
Kepler it's not actively supported any more by nVidia for some time now...
With Pascal GPU's (if we're talking nVidia) you get Fast-Sync
Do yourself a favor and buy the GTX 1080 ti.
its a worthwhile jump in performance.
SLI has been going downhill for awhile... Buy one single overkill GPU and be happy with that, example I own a 980Ti yet still play at 1080p. When I plan on getting 1080Ti I still might be playing at 1080p or might bump up to 1440p.
SLI is mainly for people who want 60fps at 4k
