Black Screen on Menu

I was running nier automata fullscreen without problems on menu, i checked the graphic settings and i turned on antialiasing and it turned the screen black.
I tried to restart the game but i can only hear sounds and the screen is completely black, what can i do?

Once you're in the game and the menu comes up (although you can't see it)
Hit ALT + ENTER ! :)

Did you use borderless gaming?

I'm having the same exact issue. The first time I started up the game it was working fine, but the moment I changed the quality settings--the window went completely black and it saved the games' settings. Now, no matter what I do, I can't manage to figure out how to change my quality settings back or start a fresh game so that I make sure not to touch the quality settings.
It's been HOURS and I just can't find a solution to this...
I haven't even played the game yet and I've spent 2+ ingame hours trying to figure this out. rip

turn off steam cloud for the game, delete the settings in C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\NieR_Automata, restart the game

I was trying to use this method, but it turned out I was looking at the wrong game folder the entire time

Yeah I'm actually having the same exact issue as you again. The game crashes at the same spot during the intro cutscene, after the first line dialogue. Still trying to find a workaround for this

Perhaps our pc specs are similar?

i5-4670 3.40GHz
8GB RAM
GeForce GTX 760 superclocked 2GB
and using Windows 7

I think I found a fix. Alt + enter didn't help, deleting my settings didn't help, checking file integrity didn't help, disabling steam cloud didn't help.
I downloaded FAR and as a last resort messed around in the options (ctrl+shift+backspace), and checked some options. What I THINK helped was under compatibility settings>third party software>disable nvida yadda yadda bloatware.
