Start Game, Denuvo not found, crash.[SOLVED]

So i start the game, it immediately crashes, I try to debug it and it says there is some problem with denuvo. Do we get some kind of CD key from Steam? I downloaded the game, unzipped it and then just ran it, and it just crashes...

1. Are you connected to internet ? Because I am sure you need to connect to internet to activate the product (you might want to disable antivirus/firewall/any security which might block its activation).

2. Try to check the integrity of your file/game. Or the extreme one just download it again (this is why preload is problematic)

3. Try to restart steam and/or computer.

4. Try again later 0.0, denuvo server might busy or something.

5. Refund if not working.

My internet is pretty slow to download such a huge file again. Yes My firewall and antivirus have been disabled, I am connected to the internet, I restarted steam and my system several times, I tried 10 times in 12 hours.

So... Ok I don't know how OP get your copy but:
1. Press install on from the game list (this will make folder inside steam).
2. Stop the download and close (kill) steam.
3. Copy all extracted files into that game folder. (usually under /steam/steamapps/common)
4. Before you start steam again, browse downloading (under /steam/steamapps/downloading), delete any trace of download in there (from this game)).
5. Start steam, but don't double click Nier:Automata, what you do is right click, go to properties > local files > click check integrity .....
6. Wait a moment (it might take a long time), be aware this process will also download anything which is necessary.
7. After it is done, press play game
8. Hope it works and enjoy the game.

Wait, so where do I get the key, I have purchased the game on 9th March, I preloaded the game, and then it automatically started to decompress/unzip whatever you call it, then the play button appeared. The game doesn't start.

1. If you buy it from steam, there is no key (usually) except ubisoft games. You can check it by right click the game title from librarly list. If there is view key there (usually none), that is where your key is.

2. If you were preloading the game, it is always better to do integrity files check after the decompression end. This process will check the game and if any file need to be updated or downloaded, it will start immediately after the checking process has done. (sometimes preloaded files is incomplete but the status: you can play the game)

3. Try to press play game again, if it is not working, I am sorry, I am out of idea.

Yep I tried the integrity check, I tried debugging the program , i get NierAutomata_Denuvo.pdb not loaded error.

not sure if a troll or not but if it isn't wait 24 hours it means you failed to verifiy your game files the first time you booted it so you aren't allowed access to your game.

So I have to wait for 24 hours to re-activte the game? Im sorry this is my first denuvo game. So I have no idea how this works. Although I forgot to mention , it asked for an activation and said I was not able to connect to servers, So it took me to a URL where I had to copy a Response code and paste it.

Usually if denuvo fail to "phone home", it will throw some garbage string which is called request code (it is not your cd key). This request code should be copy pasted to the website then you will get the response code. After getting the response code, you should used that to fill the dialog box in the game.

Have you tried to change your connection ?

I bought the game, via steam for Rs.2000/- Cash on Delivery. On 9th March.

Yes I have changed my connection, I tried using a VPN too. to change location and connection.
