Is ur nier: automata download only 26.6gb???

I really confuse I thought nier is a 50gb download??(I pre-ordered it)

It's 45 gigs after it unpacks, preloaded files are compressed...

Yes, my dl was that size. When it is installed, it is about 45gb of space on my SSD. Sorry, I can't be more precise about uncompressed size, as I am going from my admittedly faulty memory.

How do you exactly know when it's "unpacking"?I've finished the predownload but it's showing the predl button, and if i press it it just says "wait for the game to be released"

Don't worry. That's normal. Steam pre-loads are like .Rar files. They compress the size to about half then unpack it when downloaded.

Kinder on your internet that way.

All it says (in the downloads section) is "update required" but nothing starts and it says predownload completed in the games list on the left :S

Let's see, seems that i made it start by renaming the depotcache folder, making it start the download again and then putting the depotcache folder back to normal.

Do you see a little blue bar under it in the download screen? It's very small.

Alternatively try launching it. It will load up a launcher window that will fill up with bars as it unpacks more

The DLC is included in the 45gb size on my install. The Day One DLC is just cosmetic, so I can't imagine why it would take another 5gb of HDD/SDD space.

it was 50 when I had cosmetic on but when i turn them off it went to 26GB lol
