Auto-Heal on Normal?

During the first level I would auto-use repair kits when my health was low, now I have to do it manually. Is this correct or am I missing something?

The OS-Chip that let you auto-heal is back where you started the game. Explore a little bit and you should be able to find your way back there. There might be other goodies with it.

It's correct. The first "tutorial" level has it enabled, the rest do not.

Auto Item Use is a chip that you have to slot. You have it in the tutorial but since you die after beating the tutorial boss you lose your items and non-basic OS chips. You can find them randomly out in the world, you can retrieve your body and all the stuff you had from the tutorial if you go back to the factory, and I think you might be able to buy one.

There are even upgraded versions that give extra bonus healing.

You can get those chips from the harmless totem like machines in the desert or by retrieving the body by the factory entrance (its in the grass near a busted up car). That body can contain drop rate up, exp up, or auto-use item chips. The body respawns when you load the game so you can collect them over and over till you get decent chips of that type.

I have auto chip equiped yet it never works after the tutorial...

Exactly this 100%. I know the other "Auto" chips say they can only work in easy mode but this chip doesn't specify that. It definitely doesn't work and thank you guys for reminding me I think I'm going to remove it, if I remember right it's taking up quite a few slots.

auto use iteam only triggers at 30% hp or less (auto heal starts after 6 secunds of no damage)

Which plugin chip are you using exactly? There's Auto-heal and Auto-use Item. They both work on all difficulties. The former doesn't automatically use items, but gives you a regen if you haven't been hit for a specific amount of time, it's a good chip

I have the auto Item use (uses heal item when below 30%) it never works, got hit from 80ish % to below 10 and never used an item, time slowed down but no heal then got hit again and dead.

This might be insulting, but do you actually have recovery items? There's no real reason it shouldn't be working, there must be something you're missing

The one I'm talking about is Auto-Use I believe. It's where you are supposed to auto-heal if you get down to a certain percentage health. I clearly remember seeing this happen in the tutorial a few times but it has NOT worked for me since. And I think I've even put in upgraded ones like +1 or +2.
