maybe the whole game isnt being downloaded right now, so we shall see on release, hoping there isnt another 30 gig update xD

The downloads are usually compressed as not even valve wants to use that kind of bandwidth giving you games.

So the download is 26.6 and it probably unpacks to around 50 when it unlocks

Decompression, actually. Encrypting a file actually causes it to be a bit larger. As you're adding data to it to encrypt it.

It unpacks to 50 gigs... Every damn preload people are gonna flood forums saying Unpacking stuck at 99% HELP!!!!.... Watch and see... Its because of your CPU & HDD speed buy SSD ppl...
