Quick question for those who pre-purchased

Can you download game now? With my speed, I have to spend some days for download. So if this game have pre-download, pre-load thing I will consider buy now.

I dont have much experience with pre-purchase. How often pre-download happens on steam? In your opinion this game will have pre-download? Usually how many days/time before it starts?

Seeing as there's no confirmed preload, if preload were a thing, it would happen most likely the day before the game goes live. That being said, don't expect a preload.

It depends on the game, not every title comes with that option. I remember one of the few that had it was GTA V. But based on my experience pre-ordering games this is likely to not have one. Well, if it does it might be, like, just one day before the release (it's usually just one day, although there are exceptions just like GTA V back in the day) so you'd have to keep an eye open for any news about that.

I do know there are some games that allow you to play certain parts of it while you are downloading but I haven't seen one on steam yet and it is not really the case. If you are trying to get the day 1 edition, buy it now. If you are not and you can hold your impulse for this game, I would recommend you to wait for a discount, since it is on steam.

Sooner or later I'll buy. But at this moment, money is bit problem for me. Since even after game released, I can't play within few days afterward. So I thought I don't need hurry. But If it have pre-load, I don't hesitate collect some money now. Especially for those pre-purchase bonus stuffs.

I wouldn't really say it's all that low, a bunch of other Square Enix titles had preload in the past. But the 3 day barrier is already broken, so if it's gonna happen it'll probably happen 24 hours before.

Edit: Apparently the PS4 preload started two days before, so that's also possible.

Usually, pre-ordering is up 2 days before release.

Also, preload is recomended only for people with slow conections, not really worthy with 50mb+ or you will be more time decrypting the game than downloading it when its released...
