You
thank you for the first 7 people who replyed you gave some things to think about
You're complaining people are only focusing on the visual aspect of a character in a community of a platform the game has not yet been released on and that never got the demo.
The only way for people to get more insight into the character is via spoilers. Visuals are the biggest part of advertisement in a game with new characters and it's downright bloody stupid to complain about it. You even said it was a problem in response to someone explaining how they were alerted to the game.
Eyecandy is good, its better than ugly characters that we see far too much thesedays.
Everything and ANYTHING has porn of it. Get over it.
As for is she actually an interesting character, we don't really know yet.
If you are somehow tired of it, I think you should try watching less lewds of her if you know what I mean. Yeah, you know what I mean you dirty nerd.
So with that in mind: Now we've got a bigger fan-base because a lot of people caught eye of her visually (like the one guy earlier who only knew about her because porn existed of her). More people play the game, more people see her character, and more people appreciate her for things other than her physical aspects (while the people who only cared about her visually still get what they wanted).
If you want to put it into a real world perspective, it's like hooking a person for a relationship. If a person look's their best, they're going to attract the attention of people, which then get to know them, so it eventually becomes more than just the look. You can say it's a horrible thing to look at looks first, but the truth is, you see a person before you speak to them, and thus you're already unconsciously judging them by their appearance (whether they look like they take care of themselves, if they put in effort into looking good, etc), and that's a normal thing, because biologically you're programmed to look for the best mate.
Want advice? Stop caring what people think about a character, physical or otherwise. Just find out what you like about them and appreciate them for that. If you're hung up on other people's thoughts, you're just wasting your own time and stressing yourself out for nothing.
If you want to speak with people about a character deeply, try to find the right platforms to do it: Usually forums/image boards/subreddits/etc which are focused on specific topics, where dedicated fans gather.
