Fix Emil's spawning locations.
I downright refuse to run between the desert and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ city ruins anymore fix this ♥♥♥♥ please in no game where farming is a thing should I have to do what equates to farm for items that don't need to be farmed just bought from a shop, that wont appear no matter what you do or dont do.

Its been 3 hours still no weapons in his shop I have all his mails and have gotten him to sell upgrade materials but he still never has weapons, slowly draining the fun out of this game for real.

Lol settle down champ

lol he only sells weapons if you stop him in front of the Resistance Camp afaik. Just teleport to the middle of the city ruins and he should eventually start spawning there.

Great game and all but this is just terrible design, his spawns can't be predicted in any way he doesnt show up in the endgame selling his final items if there wasn't so many people who already knew what to do noone would have a clue how to get these and all for one final ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boss that you've to grind materials for the weapons for which is another set of so many hours of life wasted, this game is fun but running from one area to another trying to get a shop to move?

that's the antithesis of fun if you've completed the game he should sell all his items like a normal rpg shop would handle it. That's the big problem with nier it's like ten games in one and gets most of them perfect but the rpg element ignores the most basic fundamentals of rpg design. Spent until long into the early hours of the morning trying to change his spawn from outside the factory near engels to the last spawn and he disappeared completely off the map and hasnt came back after a number of reloads, it's as though the game doesn't want completion and is purposely being dragged out, no game this good should do something like that. This single thing ruins the pacing and feel of the game completely and manages to make what was once awesome feel monotonous as hell

Here's a good laugh everything I've just done to try and get him to spawn over the last hours has been worth absolutely ♥♥♥♥ all because i have emils mask in my inventory which cant be discarded, so i cant pick up the mask in his cave which means he wont apppear to fight me so I cant access the secret boss anyway, fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game please this is ridiculous! I'd have played this unique game a whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but after this experience ♥♥♥♥ it not the first time I've been locked out of 100% in a square enix backed titles had the exact same thing happen with rise of the tomb raider should have listened to myself then and stopped supporting their work because it's always half done or half thought out it seems.

This is wrong, I went to his house and picked the mask up before deciding to fight him, then went on later, "stole" the mask again even though it wouldn't let me pick up, and the fight triggered normally afterwards.

It has to be done as 9S and you have to go back, talk to him again so he mentions a thief, go to his house again, hack a chest, and only then the fight unlocks.

Thankyou for the concise information I do really enjoy the feel of this game but I'll just be leaving this until they fix it and making a note to steer clear of square enix and the developers they support, spending 12+ hours to rng a shop to the right place for a weapon set only a handful of players will use just to get a secret boss is an unrealistic expectation for the developer to have for their players, my time spent doing this is nearly as long as the 2nd playthrough of the game all the fast paced fun has just come up against a brick wall of slow mundane repetitive back and forth between areas, im genuinely really disappointed by it because this is the best game like this since bayonetta imo and ive played through it like 20 times, it's also killed any intrigue I had in previous Nier titles because if there's anything close to this in them I'm super okay with not playing them now.

If you bought the DLC, the crafting mats Emil sells are also sold by one of the new vendors. Look for a Red machine. I will state that during the first time you meet Emil, you can close buy both chips and crafting mats. The first time you open the store inventory he will sell chips. If you back out of the menu to where you select to either buy or sell, the second time you open the store inventory, he will sell crafting mats. This first meeting can be respawned during with Chapter Select. You will know when this happens, he introduces himself and apologezes for running away the first time you meet him.

Can anyone give me a general direction on emils house, i don't want spoilers, just an area.

Currently playing as 9s and only met him once as 2b where he sold really strong chips and then a bunch of rubbish - just got to the forest with 9s and thought i epxlored 100 percent with 2b, i guess not
Do you know the sidequest where you have to race the robot 3 times? Next to the final race finish line there is a giant pipe. Perhaps exploring inside will yield fruit?
